This home is perfect for Wood Elves or, indeed, any Sim who 'loves the great outdoors!' or who just wants to feel the breeze in their hair and stare up at the stars as they fall asleep. However, living in the open air does not mean compromising on necessities or comfort.
The home consists of several platforms on different levels, all connected by winding walkways and little stairways. A lovely place to live and just wander surrounded by the sounds and fragrance of nature.
The perfect open-plan, open-air home!
This lot is a complete rebuild based on the thinking behind the Lot Galadhrim, which can be found in the World/Neighbourhood, Istilnan.
Although I didn't play The Sims 3 for about three years, I continued to buy the expansion packs. With 'Season's' installed, I found the Sims living on Galadhrim suffering from the changing weather, particularly the heat where they would spontaneously combust!
Adding columns and roofs to the lot did not help; what they needed was walls. But how can you keep to the story of an open-air dwelling which has roofs and walls?
This is where Namárië comes in. It still uses the basic concept of walkways and platforms: only a few essential rooms have walls and roofs. And the rooms have an open feel to them, since they are comprised mainly of arches. Hopefully, this home still encapsulates the idea of 'open-air living'.
Requirements
This lot uses base game items only, except for the following:
Lisen801's Single tile arch with curved top which can be found here
This is a lovely arch, and compliments the 2 tile EA arch used in this lot.
Rosana's Garden Lamp from Ambitions expansion pack
Ivy Covered Column from World Adventures expansion pack
Lisen801's arch is an improvement on the flat topped EA single arches; I hope you like the look of it. Use the above link or copy the url from the credit section to download it.
If you do not have the expansion packs, the lamp/column will be replaced by a base game similar item.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
