Opposite modern. I really have a thing for these descriptive titles, don't I?

This house is 'opposite' in a number of ways. The most blaring one is its shape. Instead of having this L (or U) shape of the house facing the back, it is facing the front. The pool is also indoors instead of outdoors. The kitchen and dining area is on the second floor instead. And as I often do, the garden is in the basement.

As I discovered in my houseboat, sims can plant on the ITF grass carpet I used in game without cheating .

I really went overboard on the landscaping this time I feel. But I think it works! I usually try not to use certain EP's, especially with the plants, but the grass this time I used is from pets (more EP information at the end of the post).

These attributes are a good way to mix up the kind of house your sims live in!

I usually don't use store items, but I've had this bed for a while and never use it. I thought it would be cool to use it near the study area, as a 'power nap' type of room. I didn't count it as a bedroom, though of course you could. And you could quite easily add another room in the basement for whatever you'd like.
