Opposite modern. I really have a thing for these descriptive titles, don't I?
This house is 'opposite' in a number of ways. The most blaring one is its shape. Instead of having this L (or U) shape of the house facing the back, it is facing the front. The pool is also indoors instead of outdoors. The kitchen and dining area is on the second floor instead. And as I often do, the garden is in the basement.
As I discovered in my houseboat, sims can plant on the ITF grass carpet I used in game without cheating

I really went overboard on the landscaping this time I feel. But I think it works! I usually try not to use certain EP's, especially with the plants, but the grass this time I used is from pets (more EP information at the end of the post).

These attributes are a good way to mix up the kind of house your sims live in!

I usually don't use store items, but I've had this bed for a while and never use it. I thought it would be cool to use it near the study area, as a 'power nap' type of room. I didn't count it as a bedroom, though of course you could. And you could quite easily add another room in the basement for whatever you'd like.

Somewhat needed:
University (little furniture used, but the driveway/path terrain paint is from this ep. I also used a few desklights from it, one painting)

Showtime (posters in one bedroom, one statue, two indoor plants, speakers in a few places, blue futuristic statues in 'power nap' room)
Less Needed:
Pets (I didn't use any furniture for it, but I used the 'ranch weeds' all around the house, one flower in one place)
Island Paradise (Pool fountain, plants by the fountain, pool mosaic)
ambitions (inventors station, a few chandeliers)
seasons (dining room table, outdoor chairs, a few lights, soccer outside)

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
I use some CC on some of my lots (usually just the residential lots), but I only use a handful of it and use a few key pieces quite often, so your game won't get bogged down with tons of CC if you download my builds.
Sometimes I won't be around for a while, but if I've posted something within a few weeks, I am likely quite active. I am happy to accept modern community and residential lot requests as well at my discretion.
