After uploading the first version of my Medieval Starter Hovel I was asked via pm and email from my friends in the Simming community to upload how I developed the little house in my own game - I have several versions of it and this is the next step up from the basic starter.
This time we have two sleeping areas, our family has prospered a little, and they have also added a separate eating area. Life is still pretty grim when it comes to luxuries but they have a little more room on their 20x20 plot. The toilet arrangements are still outside, as they will remain for at least the next couple of centuries for the working man. The next in the series will see the family upgrade their plot to 30x30 and ultimately become a Medieval Tower House.
The house now sleeps 4 sims and retains the cot and it still under $20.000
Happy Simming!
It is necessary to have Dragon Valley from the Sims 3 Store for this Lot
Custom Content Used but Not Included
Cottage Thatch for your Sims by Simgrassalidale here at MTS
As with my other Medieval lot I have not installed a fire or burglar alarm - Please install them yourself if you prefer to play with those items in game!
Lot Size: 20x20
Lot Price (furnished): 19.827
Lot Price (unfurnished): 16.383

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
