The location city of the GTA 5 game, namely Los Santos (a virtual version of Los Angeles), was not an instant crush for me, but as I progressed through the single-player story, I slowly and gradually fell for the place. I've never been attracted to the style or architecture of West Coast, or tropical, or Hollywood Blvd, but this game managed to force me to become a fan in a weird way.

Most of the buildings in Los Santos are sadly only decorations, so you can't enter, can't see the interiors; when I decided to recreate the "Hit 'n' Run caf", I had to build the interior based only on my ideas how a Los Angeles downtown caf could look inside. I set it to be a Hangout type community lot (Ambitions EP) because instead of a Late Night bar or a University type coffee station, I placed a Food Register (World Adventures EP) inside, to sell all kind of bistro meals all EPs can offer. By the food register you can also buy raw meat and fish, vegetables and herbs here, as well.

As a Hangout, it attracts a bit more townie visitors than Late Night bars or lounges (as I experienced); apart from eating and socializing, they can play pool and dominoes, dance, read, and check their fortune from the fortune cookies machine. I also put a photo booth inside, not especially for taking photos, but well, we all like public woohoo, right? :P
I playtested it in three different neighborhoods of my game and it worked without problems, the game will assign one of your townies to become the food merchant, most likely an unemployed one; sometimes you have to wait several sim-hours for that to happen.

No CC on the lot, it requires the EPs: World Adventures, Late Night, Ambitions, Generations, Seasons, Showtime, University Life and Island Paradise (oh, those coconut cocktails on the menu!)
