Say Thanks!
Thanked!
Greetings, Simmers!
... A little History.... It was once a tradition that the bride or groom's family would provide a beautiful handmade bedroom set for the new couple. Times are always tough when you're first starting out... but, no way would they be sleeping on the floor!
Many thanks to these creators for providing stuff for me to tinker with!

This is a door from an old stave church in Norway. The carving that surrounds it is one of the textures I used for the trim on the posts and the canopy

Lars Kinsarvik is the creator. It is on display at the Jason Jacques Gallery
I used the bracing between the front legs of this chair on the bed canopy

Circa 1900 cabinet made by Shapland and Petter, up for auction at Christy's in London
This was the most important piece. Obviously, the cabinet doors became the doors for the armoire and the main detail for the headboard

this blog and the creator of the quilts is Pippa Moss. She lives in Suffolk
This is where I grabbed pieces for the Welsh quilt. I pieced it together and recolored to get uniform shading

Harp Gallery is in Appleton, Wisconsin and are strictly antique dealers. This hickory burl armoire was built in 1880 (it looks new!) the piece has been sold. They did not mention previous owners or the manufacturer.
I used the gorgeous hickory burl for the base wood texture on the bed and armoire

This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

About Me
I love to build and recolor. Anything that I have created is, for all intents and purposes, the intellectual property of EA/Maxis. Do whatever you'd like... but, please, do not post to pay sites...
If there is a specific type of lot you want for your game, let me know. I love a good challenge.
