Greetings, Simmers!

Sears and Roebuck published catalogues of kit homes that you could purchase and build from 1908 to 1940. These homes were incredibly well-built and affordable... ranging in price from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. If you look around your home town today, you might be surprised to see how many survive today. As I have gone through the floor plans, the only drawback to many of the earlier houses was the lack of bathrooms.... Remember.... "Indoor plumbing...it's gonna' be big!"
