"Americana" Suburban Split Level - 3br/3ba - NO CC

This lot is a suburban split-level house inspired by the types of houses my friends had when I was a kid! (not my family though, we lived in a single floor house )

I based it off of the kinds of houses you see in slightly older (80s/90s) subdivisions in the US, as well as some facades I saw on google images, however, the layout and interior is my own creation. The "main floor" enters into the dining room next to the kitchen, has a half bath and a closet. The back deck comes off of the kitchen and has a grill and some planters. If you go down the stairs, it goes to the living room area that's really spacious and has a very high ceiling by virtue of the way split levels are built in the game. Upstairs is where the bedrooms and two more bathrooms are. It has 3 bedrooms, a shared bath and a master bath. The small bedrooms are designed for a child and a teen girl.
  • The house is sparsely landscaped because 1) I wanted to make sure that the landscaping was tight against the house so it can be moved easily and 2) so you can put your own touches on it to match the lot you place it on.
  • The house was built on a 30x20 but I really recommend it on a larger lot like 40x30 as it will have a larger backyard and more room to add fun outdoor stuff.
  • The fireplace was put into position with MOO. If you want to move the house to reposition it, you will want to select "move lot" instead of "move house"

I have playtested and everything is accessible to sims and works. Please ensure the moveobjects cheat is active when you place down the lot to ensure that everything in it stays in its place. If you want to replace the fireplace then simply delete the wall and use MOO+alt key to position it, and then rebuild the wall.

**I tried to limit the use of stuff packs in this build so I only placed the vanity table from Vintage Glamour in the house. If you do not have this pack, it should function fine without it.
