In a mid-century, expensive neighborhood sometimes it's better to tear down that old 1950's home and build a McMansion in its place. That is a giant house that fills up the lot, but tries to fit into the old neighborhood by not looking too modern. It costs a literal fortune to buy one, but you will get all the charm of the old established neighborhood and have brand new plumbing and wiring. Your Sims will love this 3 bedroom, 2 bath McMansion with plenty of character and not too imposing.
