Sim-Tropico

Hi everyone!
I get some complaints regarding double-stairs bug. Actually double-stairs works fine if placed correctly.
I checked every lot before publish and found no problems.
Just a single written complaint in comments 2 years after release, but... well, this is the Sims videogame made by Electronic Arts. So anything can happen.
So I decide to terminate this bug possibility at all.
No more double-stairs in Sim-Tropico.
All stairs are separated now and you have no single chance to get this bug. Actually separated stairs looks a little better and more realistic.
So here is the new edition of Sim-Tropico:

Sim-Tropico RU2 - the Original Russian Edition.
Sim-Tropico EN2 - the English edition.

If you are already playing Sim-Tropico and faced this bug - here are community lots with separated stairs.
You can download these lots separately and add in your current game via Library.

Regarding "____ ____" bug in lot names and lot descriptions.
It happen if Cyrillic letters were used in non-Cyrillic version of the game (English, German etc.).
So I removed all Cyrillic letters in Sim-Tropico English version. I hope. If you find this bug somewhere just delite and confirm the lot rename.
Regarding "____ ____" bug in festival lot name. This is different. I renamed this lot a lot of times, everything's correct, but than Russian name of the lot shows up again. No ideas why it happen. I am really sorry for it. If you get it in your game just rename the festival lot in Tropicana Park, as it pointed in this lot description, or in another name you want.
This bug brings you no problems, just looks urgly. Sorry again.

10 lots 50х50 with 4 residential and 1 empty;

7 beach residences with private yachting,
2 ports,
6 public beaches with bars, sport activities and lifeguard service,
5 dive spots,
8 bars with casino, restaurants and private show.

The Map Size is Large.

WPID-data was changed.
The game get Sim-Tropico as brand new custom world, which required the full stuff from EA Store SunlitTidesDeluxe Set (with Serenity Retreat) for correct play.
It means that you do need EA Store Sunlit Tides installed before you run Sim-Tropico.
After that you will get in your game both worlds for play, with separated saves for each one.
So this is not replacement. No conflicts with Sunlit Tides saves.

Global Layer was cleared.
So Sunlit Tides population was totally delited and Sim-Tropico is unpopulated. For now
Sim-Tropico is waiting for your sims!

A lot of routing fixes were made.
Actually the entire map was checked carefully, than tested.
Hope no bugs on the map or on the lots now.

Spawn Points were changed.
A lot of spawners of all types from all required EP were added, mostly from WA.
No relic spawners from WA tombs were added, because of no tombs in Sim-Tropico.
Default spawners were totally changed, partly replaced, partly delited, because Sim-Tropico must be rich but not extremely rich

Extract files from the archive using 7zip by Igov Pavlov or any other same tool.
7-zip is free software with open source which correctly unpacking 7z, ZIP, .RAR and many others.
Download 7-zip from the official website:

Please check that you have installed all required EP, SP and EA Store SunlitTidesDeluxe Set (with Serenity Retreat).

Please check that you have installed all required Store objects:

Required paintings for Art Gallery.
Otherwise when you load Sim-Tropico all items you didn't instal before loading will be replaced by the random default stuff.
Actually for the Art Gallery it will be not a big problem, because paintings will be replaced by the paintings.

Instal Sim-Tropico from .Sims3Pack file using Sims3Launcher or S3PackageViewer.

Install Instructions

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Files^wiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).


Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
