GTA 5-Inspired Hillside Homes

It's not a hillside mansion you live in first when you move to the Big City, true, but eventually, hopefully your sim can afford to buy one. These 3 residential lots are based on hillside houses I found in GTA V Vinewood Hills. Technically they’re NOT hillside because the terrain is flat around the edges so you can place them anywhere, on any flat lot; but definitely they look best if you have a scenic view from the pool yard / rear windows.

Apart from the GTA V-inspired front exteriors, they are very ordinary, boringly trendy homes (or rather investments?) for wealthier households; the interiors and the patio are contemporized and furnished in a very de-personalized, neutrally colored ’home staging’ style that expects you to personalize after moving in. Home staging also means there are no skill objects, hardly any TV, stereo or bookcase, and no such deco object that can look too personal!

The only Store object is the hedge fence from Roaring Heights because taller and thick hedge is essential for privacy here – your neighbors may live very close to you in Hollywood Hills!



2525 Hillcrest Drive
Originally built in the 1960s, renovated and contempo-ed. 2 BR, 1 BA, 1-car garage, open floor plan. No swimming pool but has a hot tub terrace. One-story, no stairs!

4040 Grand Vista Drive
Also built in the 1960s, renovated and contempo-ed. I didn’t like the flat roof of the GTA original so I built a proper roof. 4 BR, 3 BA, but you can have a 5th BR if you refurnish the study. Open floor, 2-car garage, pool yard with grill. One-story, no stairs!

4040 Weston Drive
A dumbed-down smaller version of Devin Weston’s mansion from GTA V. 3 BR, 2 BA, parking for 3 cars, open floor, infinity pool and putting green. One-story with terrace stairs.

No CC, no Stuff Packs. Store object: I used the hedge fence from Roaring Heights (standard version) on all 3 lots. If you don't have Roaring Heights installed, the game probably will replace it with a base game fence.
