Trio Lake Sights: Elford Grove

Features:
There are three pairs of terraced houses for sale on each lot. Each pair have five flats made in different colors and with next features:
  • A1 (lemon and orange): 1SGL+1INF+1LR+1KT+2BA+GR
  • A2 (in olive and mahogany for 1-8 Elford grove, in pastel yellow for 9-16 Elford grove): 1SGL+1LR+1KT+1BA
  • B1 (dusk blue): 2SGL+1LR+1KT+2BA+GR
  • B2 (dusty pink): 1STU+1BA
  • B3 (emerald green): 2SGL+1INF+1KT+1BA
  • All flowers and all bushes are accessible for trimming without any mods.
  • No toilets at any apartment. One stall for all is available in community garden.
  • All flats are not party friendly. And not pet friendly as well. Gardens are partly fit, but no pet or party items are there.
  • Obviously these houses share the strict rules of my Victorian neighborhood. They have no TVs and no computers, no smoke detectors and no burglar alarms. There are basins in bedrooms and no full bathrooms. There is more information about Trio Lake Borough rules in my Creators Feedback Forum thread.

There are some CC mods used and shown up in screens but not mandatory to install:
General tips to place and use the lot:
  • Install using default Sims 2 Pack Installer or S2PCI.
  • Find it in your lot bin and then place. Preview shows the building on dirt terrain surrounded by trees with road by one side (just like on attached neighborhood screenshots)
  • Download CC of your choice and place it according to its description.
  • Furnished apartments can be bought by sims using cheat... well... you know which one.
  • Both lots has sloped terrain by two sides! You can place two lots front doors-to-front doors, and gardens-to-gardens. You can also place two different lots with back-to-back between roads in order to make one long terrace with slight hill to one side. But such location is hard to find.
  • Rest assured all the Attic rooms are weatherproof even when placed under sloped tiles. All CFE-d weather-no-proof roofs are covered by sloped roofs. Only chimneys that have snow to leak into.
  • Lots were playtested for routing issues. All the items are accessible. Even those are placed under the stairs and sloped roofs with MOO cheat work fine with no mods.
  • Lot has been compressed and cleaned by ChrisHatch's tool.
  • House has one pool tile, minimum of required for custom water shaders to work.

Known bugs, issues and tips:
  • I had an issue with toilet stalls in this lot (same as many others in my neighborhood). Sims cannot flush potty remains in toilet stall. Is these apartments trash cans are not far from potties but once full sims will pass a loong path to trash can outside to dispose it.
  • There is another feature of these houses to make your sims' life here uncomfortable. Both houses are on slope. And there is really few plain space for them to communicate.
  • Once buy the apartment, your sims will start to complain about amenities and want to buy toilet. In order to rein them you could hang these neat pictures by iCad.
