Mod Description

I was inspired by sweetdevil’s post in the “Mods you wish existed” thread and decided to make that wish into a mod!

This is a script mod that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.

What was the wish?

“I really want a mod that makes it so that when you're robbed, the burglar also gets a chance of stealing a percentage of your household funds

Overview

This mod adds a 20% risk of a burglar stealing 1% to 5% of your household’s funds when they successfully steal an object from your home lot.

Tunable

All of the following values are tunable in the mod’s XML file (0 is 0% and 1 is 100%, unless otherwise stated):

kChanceToLoseSimoleons = 0.20
kMinPercentageStolen = 0.01
kMaxPercentageStolen = 0.05

Conflicts & Known Issues

This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.
