Indonesia is biggest Southeast Asian country that is rich of cultures, with many ethnicities and has a lot of islands, therefore has many variants of cuisine culture, not just only Nasi Goreng, Rendang, Sate. Because there are so many food variants across the archipelago, these decoration CC are not enough to represents all Indonesian cuisine that spread in many islands. Let’s eat!
This is the part 2
Nasi is rice in Bahasa Indonesia, which is staple food to be eaten together with lauk (dishes: consists of meat & vegetables).
Sepiring Nasi is Indonesian word for a plate of rice.
Soto Ayam Indonesian chicken soup is yellow and fragrant from turmeric and bruised lemongrass. It's filled with chicken strips, vermicelli, fried shallots and a hard-boiled egg.
Soto Betawi is Soto originated in Jakarta among the Betawi people, is hearty beef soup consisting of chunks of meat and offal that are slowly simmered in a coconut milk broth, which is usually enriched with various spices.
Gulai Ayam is Indonesian curry chicken dish cooked with coconut milk and ground turmeric.
Nasi Ikan JImbaran is Nasi Ikan Jimbaran (Ikan Kembung) is grilled Rastrelliger mackerel with plecing kangkung, sambal matah and rice.
Jimbaran is name of popular beach in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia, as place to eat with romantic settings.
Nasi Timbel IS Indonesian hot dish, consisting of steamed rice wrapped inside a banana leaf. It is a traditional Sundanese cuisine from West Java. Usually consists of Nasi Putih (White rice) or Nasi Merah (Red rice), Ayam goreng kuning (Yellow fried chicken), Sayur Asem (Vegetable tamarind soup), Tahu (fried tofu), Tempe (Fried fermented soybean cake), Lalapan (Raw vegetables as salad), Sambal (Indonesian chili sauce).
