While I generally like the child activities that came with Generations, I HATE seeing them autonomously pop up in my historical worlds, so this mod is the solution I came up with: Just make it so Sims need a costume chest in order to do them at all.

About this mod
This is a small scripting mod that replaces the following interactions with custom ones that now require a costume chest on your lot:
  • Couch: Go for a joyride
  • Chair: Preside over royal court
  • Bathtub: Have a submarine adventure
The chest does not have to be accessible in order for the mod to work, so if you don't like watching your child sims play pretend, just dump it somewhere in a closed-off basement or under the roof and it should still work fine.

Tuning
I also included a little Tuning file that allows you to easily turn off autonomy for each of the three interactions even if there is a chest on your lot. The XML can be found in spherefish_ChildActivityFix_Tuning.package


Compatibility
This is a pure scripting mod, so hopefully no compatibility issues. Since this is a mod for Generations, you will need the Generations EP in order for it to work.

This mod was built and tested with patch version 1.67.
