This is a fully functional mesh override mod for the base game taxi, replaced with the legendary Ford Crown Victoria taxi fleet from New York, that we have seen on many movies and sitcoms, that took place in The Big Apple.

Why this mod?
I created this override mod to replace the pathetic vanilla mesh with an existing, real life car that has a solid presence in New York's modern history, and also has stylish and eye catching design.

Mesh details:
The model is based on the 2006 modification on the 2002 extended wheelbase model with low polygon count.
  • High LOD - 3.3k vertices, 4.2k faces (lower than the original)
  • Medium LOD - 2.3k vertices, 2.6k faces
  • Low LOD - 2.0k vertices, 2.3k faces

Installation:
It's recommend placing my mod in the Overrides folder to ensure it highest priority over the original vehicle.

Credits:
Unlike in Bloom's tutorial, I heavily used Blender during the editing process instead of Milkshape!
