I'm preparing for a set of scholarship exams for University. As promised, here is David Burke as the indispensible Doctor Watson. Burke only played Watson for the first season of the Granada series, the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but I have chosen him to Sim because I simply prefer him as Watson. I find his portrayal more exciting and engaging than Edward Hardwicke's.
I have no idea what Burke is up to now. He left Sherlock Holmes to spend time with his family and work with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the late 1980s, but I can't find any more recent information than that. Presumably he left acting altogether, or at least moved to less roles in the limelight. In any case, this is my Sim of Burke as Watson.
About the Sim
Like my Sherlock Sim, I have included two versions of Watson: an Adult version and a Young Adult version. The YA version looks almost physically identical to the Adult version. Each is in a separate .rar file below. You can download both or just one, if you want. I have checked the files with Clean Installer and they are both hack- and unwanted content-free. Made with BodyShop. Yes, I know the eyes are rather "staring": it's an exaggeration of Burke's eyes, to get them to show up in The Sims.
Age: Adult/Young Adult (See note above)
Gender: Male
Compatibility: You need University for the Young Adult life stage to show up. If you don't have Uni, you can still play with the adult Watson.
Custom Content:
Eyes: Watson Eyes, a Maxis recolour by me.
Everything else: By Maxis - See note below for clothing.
Clothing
I regret I'm not skilled enough to make detailed Victorian clothing. However, the Sim is pictured below in an outfit from All About Style. It is the "YA/A Brown Business Suit", currently on Page 2 of Victorian-Male-Casual. Their site policy forbids me from including the clothing in an uploaded Sim, and I intend to fully abide by their rules So I am giving you a link to the clothing: Get Victorian clothing for Watson here. The Sim will be clothed in default Maxis clothing, for the reason given above, when you download him.
Installation: Download either (or both) of the .rar files below. UnRAR it to anywhere and open the enclosed .sims2pack file to install.
Sharing: Please do not upload to the Exchange. If for some reason you want to include Watson in an upload here, MTS2, feel free but give me credit. Please do not upload to any other websites, as it's all too easy for custom content to go unaccredited these days :p

I have also made a Victorian Everyday Outfit and a Victorian Formal Outfit, primarily for my Sherlock Sim but they look fine on Watson too. I also have a Painting of Reisenbach Falls to hang above the fireplace of 221b.

I hope to continue my Sherlock project soon. Hopefully there will be a Mrs Hudson, perhaps Miss Hunter and Miss Smith, and maybe a couple of Irregulars!
