Cloitre de St. Etienne: A Medieval Cloister

I had too many single sims in my Medieval neighborhood, so I decided to send them off to a convent where they could live out their lives as monks and nuns. I've also used it as a place to lock up and educate the young medieval princesses until they were old enough to marry.

This lot has taken a fair amount of work, and truly, if you'd like to see it in all its splendor, I would say, download everything medieval on MTS2 because that's basically what I did. It's not very authentic in that I mixed gothic, roman and all other types of medieval religious styles, but I think it came out beautiful nonetheless. It can house many sims who don't mind a little hard, backbreaking garden work, and can live communally. It is not decorated on the outside because a real cloister wouldn't be. As it is a religious venue, I tried to make it fairly austere, but feel free to decorate it however you wish.

It is based off of a roman style cloister that I visited in Burgundy, France a few months ago. It should be a lovely closed off place for your sims to meditate and pray, as well as gain a good Christian education. Enjoy! Please let me know how I can improve upon it.
