It feels like the only thing I still do in TS3 is build starter homes. I was feeling inspired by bozlove's series of mid-century modern homes, but as always the lot turned out a bit different from what I was expecting! I did manage to make another starter home with an added nursery for when your family is looking to expand quickly. The furnishings are very basic, not many decorations and you might consider starting saving up for a burglar alarm...
