Tiny Houses are caravan-sized houses. Unlike caravans, that are meant for seasonal living (such as vacation time), Tiny Houses are scaled down houses, meant for full-time permanent living. You can watch this TED talk if you'd like to know more about Tiny Houses.
The Tropical Tiny House is one of the many tiny house designs that had origin when the Tiny House Movement started to bloom. Now you can have it on your game. You can find the blueprints for this specific design here and here.

Converting this real house into a 8x3 sim house required some adjustments to the original design though:
- There are no windows on the upper floor, since the walls are only half-walls size
- Windows and outside door were colored in black instead of brown so that they’d all have the same tone.
- I replaced the double bed with a single bed
- The bathroom was too small to place the toilet or bathroom shelves/decor, so I grabbed an outdoor toilet instead
- The real house doesn't have a trashcan inside (at least not one that can be seen), but I placed one where the plant should be to keep your sims to having to go outside every time they need to dispose of something (like the newspaper)
- I also added an outdoor grill since there's also no stove and a rock-shaped chair for your sims to sit on while they're eating.

Gameplay has been tested on this lot. I didn't wait until Autumn though, so I don't really know if your sims will be able to rake all the leaves. If you find any issues with that go into buy mode and move the trees placement a bit.

Although this house is meant to house only 1 sim, I did have as many as 5 guests on my house at the same time and when my sim got engaged, she and her fiance would share the bed in turns. Too many guests may be harder to handle than a couple though, I had an exercise bar upstairs and people kept clogging the ladder because everyone wanted to go up there and exercise xD

Due to MTS uploading policy, all the unused item's recolors were removed from the .package files.
If you'd like to have (more) recolors of a particular item you need to go to their original download thread.

Tiny houses may be tiny, but they're still highly customizable. You are free to download only the items you want in your house and replace the remaining ones with alternative items of your preference. You can also decorate your house with calendars, birdhouses, trampolins, mirrors, paintings, hobby items such as easels or exercise items… If your sims has pets you can also buy pet items such as beds, toys and food plates.

Remember: these are just suggestions of how to further customize your Tiny Houses and make them feel more personal.
Just be creative and have fun decorating your tiny house and playing in it
