Hidey Ho everyone! For anyone who didn't happen to catch my update notice on my recently uploaded lot called "The Village of Thornspell", I will quickly recap it for you! The Thornspell village is a fantasy fairy village that is made up of several buildings on a single lot that can be populated and played as a whole town. There are homes, shops, gardens, etc., all of which can help your Sims boost in a variety of fun skills and activities and mingle with the other townsfolk you add in. HOWEVER, That lot is not the only lot in this village. I recently made the discovery that Moonlight Falls, the supernatural world, has a location that if cleared out, can accommodate two 64x64 size lots directly behind one another. And that gave me the idea to work to expand my little village even more! And that expansion is what I am bringing to you all today. Don't worry, I will explain how to make it work perfectly. I tested the lot placements multiple times and each time it worked to a tee!

So this addition to the village of Thornspell features six additional buildings! This includes three homes, each equip with everything a sim needs to survive including a kitchen, bed, and full bathroom. Also included are three buildings the other lot did not have such as a tavern where fairies can go to socialize, have a drink, and gain their mixology skills, a horse pasture and stable, where they can keep and take care of any pet horses you have, or even if you manage to find a wild unicorn, and a six room inn that can accommodate any guests and visitors to the village! The rooms in the inn each have a full bathroom per room as well. Aside from the structures we have the usual village perks such as two ponds to fish in, plenty of empty gardens in need of filling and maintaining, and a large fountain plaza at the entrance to the village. Just beyond the stone wall is also a smaller street made up entirely of small fairy houses for any fairies who enjoy them more than large homes! To top it off this part of the village is full of gem spawners to help you find the gems you can then polish and put into the gem shop on the other lot :D

Now I am going to give you the step-by-step rundown on how to connect these two lots to make one big village! You don't necessarily have to if you don't wish to place them in this specific location or would rather them somewhere else, but seeing as it can be done I shall explain it!

1) Find 2345 Waning Way in Moonlight Falls. It is a community lot.

2) Clear whatever it was and set it as a residential lot.

3) Next, go to edit town mode, and delete any lots, trees, shrubs, and rocks behind this lot. There are two lots behind it, one a park, the other a house. Both need to be erased.

4) With the area behind the lot cleared out you will now be able to place another full 64x64 lot directly behind 2345 Waning Way. It takes a minute to find where it goes green but as I said, I tested it multiple times, each in a whole new game, and it will be placable just behind this lot lined up with just a small gap between the two. Set this as a residential lot as well.

5) Now, place THIS lot (the Southern End) onto 2345 waning way. The fountain plaza should be at the front with the dirt walkway connecting to the sidewalk (refer to the images for clarification.

6) Place the other Thornspell lot, found here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=606229 onto the lot behind it. The river and bridge should face front, towards the street.

7) To combine them into one playable lot, move a sim into one of the two lots and have them "purchase" the second lot. This will then make them both playable by one family, aka the villagers. To get the best routing, type the cheat "testingcheatsenabled true" and set a "new front of lot" for each lot by clicking the ground in buy mode. The back of the Southern lot should be made into the new front, and the front of the second lot should be the new front. This should be right where the gap between the two lots is meaning they now face each other. The arrows will tell you which way it is.

8) Lastly, if the mailboxes and trashcans re spawned at the edges of the lots, place them right on the edge of the gap between them, where the new fronts are set. This will confirm that as the front of the lots.

And that's it! Follow those steps and you will now have one large playable village made of two separate lots! For those who wish to try it out, let me know in the comments if you are successful and I hope you enjoy making your fantasy town even larger! Happy Simming
