The Pirate Ship (No CC)

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a really fun project I built as a way to test what is possible in game without CC or Store content! That project is a large pirate ship, built as close to reality as I could with only my game items! The lot is a residential lot but does not have a lot of furniture other than the captain's quarters, but still features the basics to live in and fulfill all needs. Above deck, along with the captain's quarters, is a large storage space with an additional room inside, and below deck are the ship's cannons and a trio of jail cells in the back! I like the idea that this ship can be renovated into a full living space built around the pre-existing elements of the ship. Thing such as turning the store rooms into bedrooms, and the jail cells into reading nooks and dining spaces or whatever you want! As is however I left it with the basics of the ship.

Another fun little quirk I found is by using roofs as sails, by raising and lowering the pitch slider, it's like you're rasing and lowering the sails!

A little note about lot placement!

This lot is a self contained island and can be placed anywhere in any body of water. However, because some areas are shallower than others, you may place the lot and find that the rim of the lot has risen up (SEE IMAGES TO KNOW WHAT I MEAN) Don't panic, though, as this is a super simple fix! Just drag the terrain leveler over the raised areas from the edge and they'll drop back down. The only land you want to keep above water is the rocky island next to the boat. This allows Sims to travel on and off the boat!
