hello,
could you help me test this?
It's a grammophone! Obviously A Victorian(ish) version of the stereo.
I think I saw a request for this somewhere.
Big thanks to JWoods and Numenor for tutorials, help and general fabulousness.

The info:
Poly count: 572 triangles, 340 vertices
Price: 500 simoleons
Fun score: 7
Room score: 3
Catalog entries for Dutch, French, German (thanks for the translation, besen!). All the others get English.
The 'horn' part and the 'base' can be recoloured separately. Both with normal SimPE and the Wizard.
Should work in both versions of the game.

The legals:
Feel free to recolour, hack, fiddle with, as long as you post a link to the mesh in this thread, and tell me all about it.
If, for some reason, you want to post the mesh somewhere, ask me.
Please do not put this object in a downloadable lot.

Known issues:
Consistency: it's a remote controlled grammophone, it plays techno and stuff. Oh well.
The blue soundwaves look a bit weird. But I don't dare to touch the bhav files. (if that's even where they are)
Update: Added a new package for the people who don't have University. If you had problems with the mesh before, please download the non-ep-version and try again. The files overwrite the old ones.
Please note that I have the EP and have no way of testing the non-ep-version. Download at your own risk. And please tells me if this solves your problems.

I included one recolour of the base. A classy black-and-gold number.
I'm not too happy about the texture on the horn. But I have no talent with shiny things. I'm kinda hoping someone else has

Anyway, enjoy, and please let me know how it works out for you.
I leave you with some screenies. The two colours, and one of the Victoria family groovin to their newest acquisition.
