Is it just me or is the Compassionate reward trait kind of underpowered? You're able to calm emotions, but if a Sim is particularly upset, it barely does anything. Ostensibly, it makes a Sim's negative buffs ease -- and it does somewhat, but really it just reduces the length of time that they will last.

This mod makes it so that the interaction completely removes any negative buffs. Specifically angry, embarrassed, tense, and sad buffs. Cranky is unaffected, but the base Calm Emotions interaction reduces the length of time that cranky buffs last, which has been kept in place.

Technical stuff: it adds four lines to the Calm Emotions interaction which were ripped from the "Lend Emotional Support" interaction that comes with the "Companion" reward trait. These four lines are "loots" (i.e. events that take place when an interaction is completed) for removing negative buffs in the aforementioned categories.

This mod modifies E882D22F!00000012!0000000000027463.socials_Targeted_Friendly_Compassionate_CalmEmotions.InteractionTuning and anything else that does so will conflict with it!
