Here's two lots of efficiency apartments inspired by a picture of a vintage motor court. I started off building a small 2x2 lot for Calamity Hills to house anyone who needed public assistence but I liked them so much I wanted a larger version with room for seniors and young couples too. The apartments are basic but I added as much decorative detail to the exteriors as I could while still keeping everything neat, tidy and uncluttered.
I also included some practical things in the communal areas to leave room in the tiny apartments.
Space Savers
In the office there's coffee, a computer and a locker/dresser.
On the green there's a pet food bowl, litter box, bone and cat toy.
Amenities
There's a grill, chess table and workbench on both lots. The 2x2 has a basketball hoop and spring rider. The 3x3 has a pool, radio, tiny garden and a car everyone can use.
NOTESThe lots are packaged as residential lots in order for you to make changes, add mods to the office etc. If I converted them into apartments for you, you wouldn't be able to customize these without redoing the car and driveway. Once you're done in build/buy mode, open the cheat window with ctrl + shift + c and type changelotzoning apartmentbase. Save and exit the lot and your apartments are ready to rent.
The door on the back of the offices is decorative.
ABOUT THE CC
I used a small amount of cc for a nicer result. If you want your lots to look exactly as pictured you'll want all of the cc. I also use the fourth version of this default replacement terrain (tumblr).
