Sulani Culture Skill

Haii Haii! I created a mod that adds a culture skill for Sulani, as the pack description and vacation description mentions local culture, but it is not clearly explained as to what the customs for Sulani are, unlike for the worlds of Mt.Komorebi or Selvadorada. This mod adds gameplay value to interacting with the island and customs from Sulani.

Mod Description
Sulani Culture Skill is a mod that gives Sims a new skill that increases when interacting with the Sulani Islands, interacting with Sims from Sulani, and engaging in Sulani culture. Leveling up this skill will unlock new social Sim and computer interactions and ways to take part in Sulani culture.

How to Increase Skill

• Chat with Locals of Sulani about Sulani
• Chat with Island Elementals
• Eat and drink traditional food from Sulani
• Clean up the Island
• Interact with Beach Cave
• Research Sulani or Mermaids on Computer
• Fire Dance
• Complete Certain Tasks from Conservationist Career
• Listen to Island Radio (Until Level 3)
• View Buried Treasure (Until Level 3)

• Level 2 - Host Social Event: Kava Party and Computer Interaction: Research Sulani
• Level 3 - Social Interaction - Inquire about Sulani Stories and Computer Interaction: Research Mermaids
• Level 4 - Fire Dancing
• Level 5 - Computer Interactions: Blog about Island Life and Write Sulani Culture Book and Social Interaction: Enthuse about Island Culture

Child of Sulani Trait
This is a CAS trait that gives Sims all the Unlocks from the skill levels and Immediate Skill Level 5. The trait has new Social Interactions for Sims from Sulani and Sims not from Sulani. This trait is intended for Sims that grew up in Sulani or around Sulani Culture.
Trait Moodlets

• Energized Moodlet when attending the Island Celebration event
• Happy Moodlet when attending any Island event
• Happy Moodlet when arriving on the island when the island is completely clean
• Scared Moodlet for Sims listening to Scary Mermaid Myths (Mermaid Sims and Sims from the Island will not get this buff)

Other Notes

• Mermaid Sims and Sims with the Child of the Islands trait will learn this skill faster.
• Social interactions that ask about Sulani will only appear when talking to Sims currently living in Sulani, or Sims in your Household with a high Sulani Culture skill.
• Social Interactions Ask about Island Customs and Chat about Sulani Landmarks are in the Friendly -> Small Talk category. Inquire about Sulani Stories (Lvl 3) is in the Friendly -> Stories category. Enthuse about Island Life (Lvl 5) is in the Friendly -> Interests category.
• Social Interactions for Sims with the Child of Sulani trait are mostly in the Friendly -> Small Talk category. Others are in the Friendly -> Hobbies, Friendly -> Funny, Friendly -> Interests, Friendly -> Complaints, Friendly -> Deep Thoughts, Mean -> Malicious, and Mischief -> Deception categories.
• Island Radio Issue - Sims currently can only gain the skill when listening to Island Radio from a Wall Speaker, Earbuds, or Floating Bot. They can not gain the skill when listening to Island Radio from other speakers.
• Cannot Fish in Sulani Since Update: The game since the 1.108.xx update (with or without mods) has broken fishing in Sulani, so winning the fishing competition could be impossible to do. Hoping this gets fixed by EA soon!

Download Notes
The main package has the new Child of Sulani trait. There is an optional package that does not have the Child of Sulani trait but instead has the game's Child of the Islands Trait embedded with the features of the new Child of Sulani trait. In the optional package, the game's Child of the Islands trait includes all of the social interactions, moodlets, and max culture skill from Child of Sulani trait.

Only pick one package to have in the Mods folder for the game.
