I'll start my description here with a notice, that I discovered I love to build crowded cemeteries in this game. There are so many objects that let you make these types of lots as detailed and atmospheric as you wish.

Grim's Ghastly Manor was originally made for "The Sims 3" base game and you can buy it with simPoints on The Sims 3: Store.

So of course... I remade it in "The Sims 2"!

I really like the idea of a manor that belongs to Grim Reaper. The whole door object idea is good for third game, because it actually has use in this game. In "The Sims 2" however you can not make such thing without custom content. (I don't even know if you can do this with it!)
I figured out that I can make another crowded cemetery for the second game using the idea and inspiration of "Grim's Ghastly Manor".
I wanted to make a backstory to this manor to give it meaning in "The Sims 2" using an inspiration from "The Sims 4: Life & Death", which led me to a:

Lot description:

"Remember that creepy house at the end of the block that kids would dare each other to go knock on the door? Grim’s Ghastly Manor is that place. A burned out bell tower, hidden catacombs are afoot here. But hidden amongst the shadows this manor was abandoned by the Grim Reaper after a long time of living in it. Everyone was scared of this place until the SimCity counsel decided to renovate it and make a funeral home, crematory and a public cemetery grounds there. But who knows what other secrets this old house hides?"

I love how detaild this lot turned out in every corner of it. I thought that making a funeral house would be hard to do but after all I figured it out because now I know that if you can imagine something you want to build in this game, you can surely do it!

Mods I recommend to use with this lot:
(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftible Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

- Community Skills Mod (Comm-skilling) (There are a lot of objects on this lot, where your sims can learn skills, so I recommend this mod to make them actually gain points.)

I used Lot Adjuster to make this lot to have the size I wanted. You can put it anywhere in the neighbourhood as you wish.
Here's the link to the Lot Adjuster:

I used cheats to build it and I tested it so everything should work fine.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.

I hope you enjoy!
