2 New careers centered on Knighthood and chivalry. Medieval-focused but can be used towards other eras post such.

HEAVILY Influenced by sokkarang's Knight and Page Careers; basically it's simply a re-vamp

KNIGHT (Teen-Elder)

A knight is not only an experienced warrior, but also a member of the kingdom's army, a vassal to the current monarch. Having first served as a page, now you must prove yourself worthy of battle with strength, strategy, and skill in order to take down your monarch's enemies and keep their subjects and the Watcher's children safe. Once you are knighted in an official accolade ceremony and swear your oaths, you will be dubbed into the Royal Guard.

Levels
  • "Squire": As a squire, you work under the knights in the Order by performing any number of tasks they ask of you. You might take care of the soldier's horses, clean armor and weapons, and accompany knights to the battlefield. You must be ready to fight and are thus trained with weapons and fighting. A squire must master the seven points of agilities: riding, swimming and diving, shooting different types of weapons, climbing, participation in tournaments, wrestling, fencing, long jumping, and dancing the prerequisite skills for knighthood.  All of these are performed while wearing some sort of armor.
  • “Knight”:  You have made it to your knighting ceremony and accepted the accolade bestowed upon you. Through chivalry and strength, you have proven yourself and are now dubbed a Knight!
  • "Crusader": The Watcher needs soldiers to fight their Holy wars, and it's your job to assist. Go into battle for the Watcher, your monarch, your noblesim, or just perhaps yourself and your name and the love of the land. And perhaps....you'll get more honors of the monetary persuasion...
  • "Knight Captain": You're one of the knights who've returned home and went back into the more scrutinized service under your noblesim or monarch. Even though you hadn't created a bigger name for yourself in those sites you survived by killing the Watcher's enemies, now you've proven your loyalty and prowess enough to lead a squadron!
  • "Paladin": The Paladin is a more widely-known version of a knight's captain and a crucial member of the infantry, often *leading* multiple squads of troops to battle. You possess strong virtues and uphold the Chivalric Code. Your coat of arms now proudly flies high above many others in fields of battle!
  • "Royal Bodyguard": As a Royal Bodyguard, you have been tasked to protect the monarch and/or their family at all costs. The monarch keeps you close by in case of assassination attempts. You no longer need to face the battles of a lower level knight and are given greater privileges, including higher pay.
  • "Grand Master":  The order's highest office is that of Grand Master, a position to be held for life. The Grand Master oversees all the operations of the order, including both the military operations in the monarch's land and the Guards' financial and business dealings.

PAGE (Child-Teen) [Part Time]

In order to become a knight, one must first train as a page. Starting during the early years of youth, a page begins training under nobles and tradesfolk. You will learn to read and write, clean, and serve your knight mentors. Skills in hunting, equestrian care, and swordsmanship are taught to older pages in their teen years. You will eventually become an assistant to knights in battle, carrying and cleaning their armor, and accompanying them on expeditions.

Levels
  • "Meal Server":  Some knight has taken you in, deciding you might some day be worthy of training for the Knighthood. Lucky for them, they just gained a loyal servant. Unfortunately, that means you have your work cut out for you.
  • “Armor Polisher”:  As a Page, your liege will teach you all about proper armor care and upkeep. You may need to take some trips to the Blacksmith for the Knight's repairs and fittings, but carrying all those heavy items of metal is sure to build your strength!
  • "Horse Groomer": You spend much of your time in the stables cleaning up after, grooming, and befriending the horses. Some day, one of these magnificent steeds could be yours to ride into battle!
  • “Academic”:  The folks at the church decided it's time for you to learn to read and write. You will compile journals, read the accounts of past knights in an order, and begin to understand battle strategies from worldly maps in the archives.
  • "Squire in Training": You have mastered all the skills and etiquette required of a page. When you come of age, you will advance to the position of a squire and your duties will more than double, though the reward will make up for the extra work.
