Hello everyone!
This is my first mod and it focuses on retired Fortune Tellers from the Supernatural EP.
Once a Fortune Teller reaches level 2, they can perform Private Readings for other Sims, which allows them to earn a little (or a lot, depending on their level and how much you hustle) money on the side. However, since that's a career social, when you retire a Fortune Teller, they lose that interaction, which doesn't make sense to me. A Fortune Teller doesn't suddenly forget how to read someone's future just because he or she stopped working in a specific booth.

So this script mod adds a retirement version of that interaction without core modding. It comes in 2 flavors:

Flavor 1: Adds a new social that you will find in a new pie entry: Mystic Services -> Private Reading (Retired)

It appears when clicking on another Sim, but only for Sims who
* are retired Fortune Tellers (branch doesn't matter)
* reached at least level 2 before retiring (unlocking the private reading interaction)

The mod is essentially designed to mirror EA's original Private Reading:
* option only works on Young Adult/Adult/Elder Sims
* uses EA's original animations for both successful and rejected readings
* uses EA's own cooldown period between readings (12 sim hours per target, NOT 8 as some websites say)
* pays out using EA’s payout logic (better outcomes and higher levels yield more money; Mystics can earn more due to EA’s multipliers)
* preserves track differences: Mystics have higher chances of good outcomes and better pay, just like the original interaction
* I was able to tap into EA's notifications! So you will get the original EA notifications for successful readings, which will vary depending on how good the reading was.

Flavor 2: Private Reading (Retired) social + Mystic Potion Shop Discount
Includes everything from Flavor 1, plus:

Retired Mystics who reached at least level 7 before retiring can still get the EA Mystic potion shop discount (this does NOT go for the Scam Artist Branch!). The discount is 20% but can vary a little due to rounding. This is done by adding an interaction on the cash register called "Shop for Potions (Retired Mystic Discount)".

Important notes:
* This option only appears when clicking on the potion shop cash register (not the clerk), at Aleister's Elixirs and Sundries (Supernatural)
* The option will ONLY appear on cash registers that had already been placed when booting the game. If your game doesn't have Aleister's Elixirs and Sundries lot and you then place it, you will have to save and restart the game for the mod to take effect and show the option
* This option only appears for Retired Mystics who reached at least level 7 before retiring
* It should not appear on other cash registers.
* The way this works is that rather than directly adding a discount to the money a sim has to pay, the mod monitors household funds and spending as soon as you enter the shopping menu through the new interaction, applies the discount and then refunds it after you pay the original amount. So you pay the full amount and the mod then refunds you 20%.

Installation

Put ONE flavor package (Flavor 1 or Flavor 2) into:
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages (or wherever your packages folder is)

Put the **matching** override package into:
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Overrides (or wherever your overrides folder is)

Requires EP7 (Supernatural). Tested on patch 1.69. Also tested with all EPs. Should also work on 1.67 but I haven't tested it. If you have patch 1.67 and test the mod, feedback would be appreciated

**Possible conflicts**
The override edits the xml in GameplayData.package for EP7 and will thus conflict with any other override that edits the same xml.

As for the mod itself, since it essentially only adds a new interaction, Flavor 1 should not conflict with any other mod unless you have a mod that overrides/rewrites EA's own Fortune Teller Career perks, branch names or discount tunables.

Flavor 2 will likely conflict with any mods that apply discounts at purchase time or alter how registers charge funds in potion shops.

Happy simming! If you encounter any bugs, please let me know.
