Blending "fix" for 'On the Road from COGnition'

This is an override for the On the Road from COGnition flooring included with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. This floor is supposed to be a damaged version of the "Terrific Tarmac" Asphalt from the base game, with the intention of being able to place cracked spots of asphalt to create a more run-down look. Unfortunately, I've never really wanted to use it because of how atrociously it blends together.

Looking at things more closely, the cracked floor has a substantially higher-resolution texture (512x512) than the asphalt/road textures (64x64). It also has slightly different stdMatDiffCoef values, causing it to appear darker than the regular asphalt floor.

This mod rectifies both issues, but the reason I've put "fix" in quotes is because of my approach to resolving the texture size mismatch. I thought about bringing the quality of the road textures up to par, but decided against it since that's a lot of work on its own, and would also change the default appearance of roads significantly. Instead, the simplest solution was to downgrade the AL texture to match the base game road textures. It's visually lower quality now, but at least it blends in perfectly with the regular asphalt. How much this can actually be considered a fix is up to you. But if you think this is a fair compromise, then this is the mod for you!

Requirements:
The floor is only included with Apartment Life, so this expansion pack is required to gain any benefit from using this mod.

Installation:
To install, place the file included in the archive in your Downloads folder. Only minimal resources are included, so the file will not cause the floor to be flagged as custom content in-game.

If you wish to update the image seen in the Build Mode catalog, just Ctrl + Right-click the thumbnail to regenerate it.
