This lovely country home overlooking the lake makes a perfect Summer getaway for all the family. Or, escape the rat race, and move in permanently!

The Sawgrass is entered via a generous porch, set high to avoid Spring flooding. Inside, turn left for the formal lounge, with views of the lake.
Set behind the staircase, the downstairs bathroom has doors onto both the lounge and the foyer.
To the right of the foyer is a good-sized kitchen, with a pretty nook big enough for a six-seater dining suite. Beyond the dining area, another doorway leads to the family room.
Up the split-level stairs you will find three large bedrooms, two of them sized for double beds. One full bathroom is at the head of the stairs, and another opens off the master bedroom at the private end of the landing.
The entire house is painted in restful greens, blending into the landscape. A swimming platform has been installed on the lake, as well as a delightful BBQ patio. Walk out over the water and see for yourself!

Notes for Players:
Requires basegame.
3 bedrooms
3 bathrooms
Swimmable pond, BBQ patio
3x2 lot
The house has been playtested for about seven sim-days, by the Wilson family. Their three boys made sure everything was structurally sound, while Mum and Dad worked on son number four. Good thing they got out of that little beach cottage!
The swimming platform works. Just a caution - as with any non-standard building, there can be glitches. I have found that occasionally, a Sim will dive off the board, and get frozen on top of the water. Looks kind of cool, until eventually they die of exposure (which upsets the residents). I haven't found any way to prevent this, and if it happens, the only way I know to fix it is to either exit without saving, or use the MoveObjects cheat and delete the frozen sim. (Don't worry, they will return safely next time.) I have only had it happen with sims visiting the lot, not with residents. Just be sure to rescue them before the Reaper arrives.
The house design is based upon a real plan, found here:
http://www.coastalliving.com/coasta...1089666,00.html
I have kept the outside as close as I could, but the inside is different.
Possible alterations:
A fireplace can be added to the formal lounge.
There is little excess space on the lot, so the house is not readily extendable. Also, the compressed floor level in the middle will cause problems in altering, unless you are knowledgable about the method used.
The house is fully furnished (Maxis) for up to six people, and includes skill objects.
Hope you enjoy this one.

Install Instructions
1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
