I recently got all the EPs up to Seasons and I wanted to figure out how to continue to make BG-compatible houses before uploading more lots, but I've been lazy and building is way more fun than tinkering around with files! I'm on a Mac so the AGS is out for me. Anyway, here's a new lot, NOT BG-compatible I'm afraid.

It's a cosy cottage for your elderly sims to retire to - not too big, but there's ample space for when the grandkids come to visit. The decor is pretty feminine - I built this with a grandmother in mind.

Features:
- Driveway
- 1 double bedroom
- 1 full bathroom
- kitchen and dining room
- front room and upstairs parlour
- pond
- very little room for expansion
- tiny balcony (more for looks than functionality)
- secret attic (you'll have to find it and add the door yourself, and I highly recommend Boblishman's Secret Door - Sliding Bookcase)

Furnished version includes all basics plus:
- lights, fire alarm, phone, curtains, decorations (I forgot to include a burglar alarm)
- objects for building all skills
- kennel, chew toy, pet food dish

Note that the house can be made cheaper without sacrificing in-game aesthetics by removing wall-coverings from the interior and otherwise unseen roof walls, which I did because I'm persnickety about detail. You can also replace the floor-coverings with something cheaper.

I've uploaded 3 versions here for your convenience.

HarlequinWay13_Furnished.Sims2Pack.zip contains the fully furnished version you see in the screenshots.

HarlequinWay13_Fixtures.Sims2Pack.zip contains the same, with all furniture removed except for fixtures (lights, plumbing, kitchen etc)

HarlequinWay13_Unfurnished.Sims2Pack.zip contains the house without any furnishings, and with minimal landscaping - a couple of shrubs, basically.

I'm assuming that people who want the landscaping (quite time-consuming) but not the furniture can easily remove the few fixtures in the second version.

The pictures are quite detailed and I'll let them speak for themselves.

If you like this, check out my other uploads. The houses are different but the style is similar. Also, I love thanks, stars, all that pretty stuff. And feedback! Leave a comment, tell me what you liked/didn't like about this house.
