Sim State Technical College

Does your Sim need to learn a new skill, or master an old one? Well, learn by doing instead of simply studying. Receive real Simworld training in the skill of your choice. You'll find all this and more at Sim State Technical College.




I created this lot for my YA Sims that were created in the YACAS with "rapid skilling" specifically in mind. If you don't know about rapid skilling using career reward objects you can read about it here from Sketch Elder.


I've created two lots with identical layouts:

Sim State Technical College.zip contains a myriad of snap dragon plants to allow your sim to study until they drop from exhaustion. I've placed enough of these in each skilling room so your sim is almost guarenteed to be lost in a fog of pink mist. If this happens just look for the plumbbob.

and

Sim State Technical College nd.zip contains no snap dragon plants. But, to make up for this, I've placed an espresso bar on the lot. Woohoo. Now who needs to study when there's coffee to be had!


NOTE: I did not place all career reward objects on this lot, only pertinent ones that made sense to me. But, there are enough objects to allow your Sim to study every skill. I've also placed the Robot, Toy and Floral benches on the lot if your Sim would like to study for those badges. And I've placed a few magazines in the upstairs sitting area in case your Sim needs/wants to gain interest in a particular topic.
