Forget Trump Tower. How about your very own Brownstone right across from Central Park on the Upper East side? This isn't just any Brownstone; 3 stories of luxury with your very own atrium (pool, barbaque and lounge area) and a backyard garden patio with 6 garden plots, and a complete guest house over the two garages with a balcony that looks out over the bustling New SimYork street.

I shudder to think what this home would cost in the real world, but whatever it would be, and as expensive as it is in the Sim world, your Sim is getting a bargain. Trump would be envious. Central Park adjacent...


I built this lot over a year ago. This was my "Great White Whale", so to speak. And eventually I won... eventually. I saw the houseplan on a site and just stared at it. The architectual layout was very rough and unfinished looking as was the sketch of the front. I think that's what attracted me to it. And Brownstone just seemed to come to me. It had that look about it.

If any of you would care to read about the trials and tribulations I had with this lot you can find my pictures on photobucket here and here and read the descriptions. I was rather happy and relieved when I could finally say I finished it. I lost count after about the 35th hour... yeah, lol.

But enough of me whining (yes, I had cheese with that) and onto the more exciting thought of what luxurious amenities await you and your Sim!

This lot includes:
- 7 bedrooms
- 7.5 bathrooms
- Game Room/Bar
- Family Room
- Exercise room complete with Sauna
- Reading Room
- Study
- Outdoor garden/patio with 6 garden plots
- A covered veranda on each level
- A luxurious atrium with swimming pool, outdoor kitchen barbaque lounge
- A separate, unfinished guest house over the two garages

NOTE:
- The recolors used with this lot are supplied in a separate file - "Central Park Adjacent - REC.zip".
- The animation file for Marvine's Spiral Stairs is supplied in a separate file - "Marvine-SpiralStairs ANIMATION.zip".

Known Issues: I built this lot over a year ago and even though I have a G5 and, what was then considered, a good graphics card, this lot played extremely slow (5 actual seconds for every Sim second) when I moved Sims into it. I doubt you should have that problem now; probably why I waited so long to upload it. But, just in case- FYI.

and...

There is no elevator in the house. My apologies. It was a decision based on form over function. The reduced walls in between each floor wouldn't allow the elevators to work, but they added the proper aesthetic and grand elegance I thought this lot deserved. Just give your Sim an extra body point every few days for walking up and down all those stairs
