Barbados from a balcony

Malcolm Landgraab V commissioned this house to be built on his island in the SimBahamas for his fiance and him to live. He had worked hard (and it didn't hurt that his inheritance was a boat load). They were both still young and they both wanted to leave the fast-paced life of Pleasanville. And although his idea for an open- very open, houseplan worked. They found that the salt air was ruining their decor and personal items. So, sadly they put the home on the market, which means lucky YOU! A 3 story, 4 bed, 6 bath, 3 level estate right on your very own beach!

Once again I was inspired by a houseplan. I stuck to the layout, but I kicked it up a few notches; adding an infiniti pool, a basement that walks out to the beach and balconies-- lots of balconies. I realized that as I built higher I was able to extend the floor tiles beyond the actual limit on the ground, so I ran with it.

As I was building I had the idea of the home being open to the outdoors; no walls or the glass wall that the original plan had. I wanted something different. I thought it worked out well, granted the lighting situation is a bit different-- darker than usual at night, as it is outdoors, but I liked the atmosphere it presented. And if you didn't just realize, this lot should not- NOT be in a neighborhood where winter is set as a season. Thus the name- Barbados; warm, exotic and "beachy".
