"Formerly the home of Norman Bates and his 'mother' - SimEstates and Loan are proud to present to you this comfy family home. The graceful residence stands proudly overlooking the former Motel business, the whole lot rests quietly on a lonely back road which was once the state highway. Sadly, illness forces the sale of this home and I am sure you'll love that homey, lived in feel. The lot boasts sleeping room for eight sims and has four bathrooms and two kitchens! Imagine cooking up a pancake storm there!"

As I am sure many of you will know, Bates Motel is the setting for one of Alfred Hitchcock's most famous movies 'Psycho'. A classic horror movie and certainly an iconic movie of it's time. The build is based on various photos I have seen of the place and what I have not seen, I have imagined.


Layout
In the main house are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedroom at the top of the house is 'mother's room'

In the grounds, at the front, are two guest cabins and an office. Cabin number 1 looks curiously inhabited, luggage remains there ..

What you need to know about this Lot
The lot has extensive landscaping and contains a certain amount of CFE in the main house, the staircase is a U shaped staircase and chaos will ensue if you touch it! The lot contains no Custom Content. However, you will need to be aware that I used Buzzler's Build/Buy Restriction Choker to build it - This mod allows Community items to be used on a Residential lot.

I realise that the icons for University and IP do not show up, but I have both EPs installed and made this lot with some items from one or both of these EPs.
