Please disregard the below statement unless you already have a neighborhood folder called N121. People shouldn't have anymore problems with this 'hood not showing up in game with the new zip file. If you have downloaded the old one and you had problems, please delete it and replace with the new one (be sure to back up your game beforehand!).

IMPORTANT! If this does not show up in your game, you need to rename the unzipped folder (currently named N004) to something else that is different to whatever else is in your Neighborhoods folder (in Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Neighborhoods) . To do this, just simply right click the Jackferry point folder (N004) and rename it to something like N121 for example. Sorry to those who have been having troubles! The reason this conflicts with some games is because the title N004 is also the name of an EA expansion neighborhood.

Hello! I've been working on this new 'hood for a few months now, and have now finally finished it during my uni break! It was really fun to make, all houses/ lots were my own designs and are (obviously) of contemporary architecture. Why, might you ask? BG roofs are freaking ugly and hard to make not... sticky-outey up in the air, so I figred to heck with that, we'll do simple flat roofs.

The houses are just that... Very simple and spacious and clean looking. Your sims won't go all stampey-foot on you as there is plenty of space and there shouldn't be any objects blocking their path. Another important thing to note is that a lot of the houses are only semi-furnished. All (I think...) have all fixtures in place such as basic kitchen and bathroom needs. There are a few mansions that are fully furnished (although only a couple have furnished bedrooms as if you're like me, you don't want someone designing your sim's personalities for you!).

Each house is categorized into three different classes. There's your basic starter house for CAS sims and sims moving out of home for the first time. The middle class follows next for sims who want to step up in the world and have a bit more space to live and store all of their accumulated goodies. Then there is supreme living which are houses that cost more than $100,000 and are for sims who love the life of luxury if they can afford it.

This 'hood also uses a SC4 map that comes with the BG, so if you don't have the "Sample" (the one I've used) lush map, you will need to copy it from your install disk.

Someone requested that I add that yes the Pleasentview NPCs and townies are present in this 'hood. It isn't an empty hood.

Please see the comments section for images of individual lots!

Important Note: While I didn't use any custom content in this 'hood, I do have default replacements installed which are NOT included, and NOT required for you to download. But if you want to make your game look like in the screenshots, these are the default replacements I used:

Default Wall with scale and Floor Edge grey by Psychosim
Neighborhood Greener Grass replaces Maxis grass Terrain by mzcynnamon
Wall Top Texture Replacement (White one/ first on DL page) by Maranatah

Thanks for looking and please let me know if you use this and what you think of it. This is my first time uploading a neighborhood, so feedback is much appreciated! :-)

Happy simming!
