I decided to take a short break from Sims 1 builds to create what for me is a dream home.
I love the mountains, forests and nature but veered away from log houses and ended up creating this rustic retreat that unbelievably doesn't cost both arms & a leg!
It has an open plan layout for the dining/kitchen/living areas, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, mudroom, patio, garden pots, waterslide, aquarium and 2 fireplaces.
To keep the lot somewhat cost effective, I used cheaper furnishings while still managing to make it look homey. In my game my poor sims have to save for years to afford a house like this....makes it soooo much more fun when you finally achieve it!! Just like real life!
I actually built this on the only empty 40x30 lot in Windenburg....it has the perfect setting!!
I used the following packs aside from the base game:
Get to Work
Get Together
Spa Day
Outdoor Retreat
Dine Out
Backyard Stuff
Lots of fun building this, and I look forward to having lots of fun playing it! I hope you enjoy it too!!!
Lot Size: 40x30
Lot Price (furnished): 118668
Lot Price (unfurnished): 38200

About Me
I've been playing the Sims since the Sims 1 came out in 2000, and started building lots and creating Sims in the Sims 3.
My favourite builds are worn out, rat infested hovels but I also enjoy the challenge of creating lots that represent buildings in the real world.
All of my lots were created on an iMac, but after getting the new M1 iMac, I've learned some of those lots have graphics issues, so I'm slowly altering them to avoid this issue. I will upload the M1 compatible files when they are completed.
All new builds are completed in Version 1.70 (64-bit Mac). They are also tested on a Windows computer.
