Dark Meditation and Dark Energy - Two Vampire Mods (UPDATED INFO: MARCH 12TH 2025)

Does it bother you to see your Vampire gain almost nothing from using Dark Meditation to restore their Vampire Energy? Does it also bother you to see how long Dark Meditation last for your Vampire? 15 minutes??

Without further ado...

DARK MEDITATION MODS (interaction):

These mods changes the amount of time and energy a Vampire needs to meditate to regain their Vampire Energy:

1 Hour - EA default energy gain values (full Power bar)
1 Hour - Reduced EA default energy gain values by half (slightly over half of the Power bar)
1 Hour - Reduced EA default energy gain values by 1/3 (1/3rd of the Power bar) Pescado
2 Hours - EA default energy gain values (full Power bar)
2 Hours - Reduced EA default energy gain values by half (full Power bar after 2 hours)

DARK ENERGY MODS (buff):

These mods modify the amount of time a Vampire's Dark Energy buff lasts until the Vampires can use Dark Meditation:

No Buff: Can use Dark Meditation Immediately
1 Hour : Can't use Dark Meditation for 1 hour
2 Hours: Can't use Dark Meditation for 2 hours
3 Hours: Can't use Dark Meditation for 3 hours
4 Hours: Can't use Dark Meditation for 4 hours
24 Hours: Can't use Dark Meditation for 24 hours Pescado

NOTE ABOUT THE PESCADO VERSION:

J.M. Pescado was a well known modder for Sims 2 and Sims 3, having done a ton of mods to make the games harder to play or to make the Sims suffer. I'm pretty sure his poor Sims literally begged him to let them out of his games! The special Pescado mod makes the challenge more interesting for players playing their Vampires to survive with what little energy they have to go about their daily (or should I say nightly?) activities.

ABOUT THE VALUES:

The following information about the values in both the interaction and buff mods are outlined below:

Dark Meditation:

EA Default Energy Values:
Without True Master trait: 4
With True Master trait : 6

Chaavik Energy Values:
Reduced Energy Values By Half:
Without True Master trait: 2
With True Master trait : 3

Reduced Energy Values By One-Third:
Without True Master trait: 1
With True Master trait : 1.5

Dark Energy buff:

EA Default Value: 12 hours

BUT.....

EA modified a piece of code and added a hidden modifier inside the game to adjust the timer for the Dark Energy buff. This is what I discovered in my research:

EA Default Buff Values:
15 mins = 1 hour
30 mins = 2 hours
45 mins = 3 hours
60 mins = 4 hours
180 mins = 12 hours
360 mins = 24 hours

WARNING:

You can have ONE version from the Dark Meditation Mods (interaction) folder and ONE version from the Dark Energy Mods (buff) folder together in your game. Put them in the Overrides folder! Support will not be provided if either mod isn't put into the Overrides folder.
