The Mid-Century Modern

Greetings, Simmers!

~~~~~~Things I learned growing up in the 60's when it came to the midcentury ~~~~~~

1) Someone, somewhere, decided that plastic and aluminum were good design choices.....
2) From the outside, a modern home could easily be mistaken as an office building
3) DUCK AND COVER!
4) The big brick planter box in the living room usually contained plastic flowers...
5) You haven't seen ugly until you've seen worn out beaten down ORANGE shag carpeting
6) On television, June Cleaver vacuumed in high heels and a pearl necklace
7) The combination of an indoor game of tag and the brick planter box sent many of my friends to the emergency room for stitches in their heads

ah, yes! The 60's

....and on to the build....

This is built on a 4x3 medium lot... and costs 119,527 simoleons completely furnished.
I tried to keep colors as neutral as possible while sticking with patterns that were true to the time frame.
