The new expansion to Sims 4 has been very helpful for generational gameplay, but only forward in time. What about looking backward?

When you create Sims they are still without a past or lineage (unless you use some mod to give them one). But you can help them fake it by buying Family Photos of their meta-ancestors from Sims 2 (as re-created by Carrit).

As Major General Stanley in Pirates of Penzance said of the ancestors buried in the chapel of the estate he purchased, "I don't know who ancestors they WERE, but I know whose ancestors they ARE!" So, too, let these photos of Sims 2 characters represent the past from which your current Sims evolved, a past in which everyone looked vaguely like Miguel Ferrer.



This quartet of photos is affordably priced for starter families and has 22 swatches each with a different foursome of Sims. There are two files: one version has the photos in color and the other in sepia, for those who prefer a duller past.
