Butler Housing "Luxury" Homes

Need a space for your sims to live, but the starter homes are just too dull and over priced?!? Well come on down and grab yourself a "nice" townhome at Butler (housing) Luxury Homes!

These (apartments) homes are based on the real life Butler Place Projects, located in Downtown Fort Worth, Texas, that were closed down back in December of 2020. Opened in 1940, as one of the 52 Public Works Administration projects, part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, opened to house its first 250 Black families. For 80yrs, this complex housed many families there were close to or below the poverty level.. (My own included, between the years of 2005-2007. The unit based on MY specific home is the second to the left on the main photo.) In 2017, the city decided to relocate all of the families and shut the place down, due to various reasons. So I decided to bring my nostalgia to The Sims, to share with all of you!

There are 8 lots in total. 6 livable (one way or another, lol) and 2 empty without doors. (I found that when I played on this lot, Sims would enter the empty lots, as if they were community spaces. So I removed the doors to stop all of that.) Each lot is decorated differently, however all of the bathrooms are the same, so I didn't show any photos of them.
