This mod requires Lot 51 Core Library

This mod adds to the computer an interaction that detects specific objects within an area. The search range also includes outside the lot.
This mod works with the base game only.

-Expanded the types of searchable objects.
-Adjusted the search range for the Leftovers file.

How to Use
Click on the computer to display the search options, then click on the object you want to find.
If the object exists within the area, the camera will focus on it.
At the same time, a notification with an icon will appear on the notification wall. As long as the notification is not cleared, you can click the icon to focus the camera on the object.

If there are multiple identical objects, you can only search for one of them at a time.


Files
You can select files depending on the type of object you want to search for. There is no problem installing both. Please be sure to include the main file.

HobbyObjs_Option
Wandering hobby objects such as streaming drones.

Supported objects.
  • Streaming Drone(EP06)
  • Quadcopter / Bots(EP08)
  • Robot Vacuum(EP04)
  • Bicycle
  • Tablet/Sketchpad

The search range always covers both inside and outside the lot.

Leftovers_Option
Leftover food, drinks, garbage, etc.

Supported objects.
  • Food
  • Drink
  • Garbage
  • Puddle
  • Accursed Object (Paranormal)
  • Specter (Paranormal/Life And Death)

If the Sim performing the search is within a Lot, only the interior of that Lot will be searched. If the Sim is outside of a Lot, the entire area will be searched.

Not only leftover food, but also untouched food and drinks are subject to this.
Puddles include not only water but other substances as well.
Accursed Object and Specter options will show up even if you don't own the pack.


Tagged_StandaloneOption
Tagged interactions will be added to some hobby objects.
This is a very simple feature that only displays a notification with an icon when the interaction is clicked.
This optional file can also be used on its own without the main file, so it is recommended for those who prefer a more simplified function.
  • The supported objects are the same as HobbyObjs_Option.



Notes
This mod uses in-game text data, so some text may look unnatural.
Since this search interaction is actually performed by the currently selected Sim, it may take some time for the object to be searched depending on the situation.
Leftovers Option: If a Sim is outside the lot but too close to it, the outside of the lot may not be searched.

The object search and camera focus functions within the area are in-game features, and this mod simply calls those functions, so it should place very little load on the game.
