Penthouse

I made this for a friend … and thought that I might share it with some of my MTS friends. Hope you enjoy it.

A spacious, unfurnished, contemporary house on a small, 2x2 lot is now available at just under $90,000 for your Simmies urban living pleasure. This house utilizes the very best in sim design principles -- every major area has at least 2 ways in and out so that your simmies don’t need to throw home travel tantrums.

The lowest level is a 2-car garage with a spacious area suitable for all those musical instruments your sims always want. I am told by my sims that the accoustics are great. One thing to note about the garage, due to how I placed the garage doors, you can only park the cars in the garage -- not in the driveway. Also, the doors do not have the open animation, but that doesn’t stop your sims from taking the car out.

Your mail and all your guests, arrive on the 2nd level landing. Here you have direct access to a small, bachelor pad apartment. Behind the apartment is an area that I used as a rec room -- put a bar, pool table and dartboard here. You will be the favored spot in the sim friendship circle. One thing to note, is that the grocery delivery person is a few bananas short of a bunch. He can not figure out where to go and so he just leaves your groceries on the side walk. Relax and ignore him. Go get your groceries when he finally gives up and leaves. You really didn’t want to talk to him, anyway.

The 3rd level is the main living for your main sims. Plenty of space for a dedicated library, dining room and TV room. The kitchen is here, with direct access to the recreation room and dining area. The 4th level has the family bedrooms.

On the uppermost level, there is a small enclosed area -- suitable for a card table, a sunny reading room, or a dedicated exercise facility. The roof sports a working pool and plenty of space for a grill, patio furniture and a telescope.
