WARNING: this is a Global Mod, i.e. it affects all the lots in all the neighborhoods; it might be unknowingly exported along with your lots, so always check them with the Clean Installer.

10 MAY 2009: This mod has been successfully tested in Apartment Life and Mansion&Garden, and is compatible with any existing expansion, as well as the bare base-game.

07 OCT 2007 - UPDATE
  • Removed the "zzZZ" from Recliners and Coffins.
  • Tested with Bon Voyage: the "zzZZ" is removed from tents and hammocks, too.

This is another instalment in my "No Visual Effects..." series. This specific mod has been requested to me by Mew_Mew.

Its purpose is very simple: remove the "zzZZ" effect when the sims are asleep.
It works for any age (including the sleeping babies and toddlers).

Game Compatibility - This Mod work in any game up to FreeTime. NOTE: there are high chances that the Mod will NOT be compatible with future expansions!

Installation: unzip to your Downloads folder (Q-Xpress is fine, too); to uninstall, just remove the file "Numenor_GlobalMod_No-zzz-while-sleeping.package" from the Downloads.

Technical explanation: this is a modded version of the following 'Text Lists 0x008F - Effects' (this mod is therefore incompatible with any hack the files listed below):
  • Globals: line 0x0E stripped off;
  • ChairGlobals: line 0x00 stripped off;
  • Coffin: line 0x01 stripped off.

Redistribution Policy - Unlike my other creations, you can do whatever you want with this mod; crediting me is not required (though it would be appreciated: my ego always claims a slice of the pie )
