Finally - my first starter home! This is harder than you'd think, because I always want my Sims to have all they might need right away. Then I have to use cheats, so they can afford the place. But here is the bare minimum with, I hope you'll agree, some style and possibilities for future expansion.

Here's a lovely wooden home for one or two Sims who are starting out in life!

This one-story home has an open-plan entry (great views of the neighborhood through the windowed surround),

kitchen, dining area and living room (with fireplace!). The bedroom and bath are at the back of the house.

There is also a driveway, front porch and back deck with outdoor dining and grill. The lot is minimally landscaped, so your Sims can try their hands at gardening, or use the available room to build on an addition or put in a pool, when they can afford to.

No custom content was used in the building of this lot, nor did I use any Stuff Packs. With the driveway, I believe you may need at least the NightLife expansion pack, but it should otherwise be playable in any game.
