Like most of my uploads, this is something I started to fill a need I had for my own game, that kind of got away with me! The modern looking Fjord counters and matching Archipelago island are my favorite Maxis counter. I think I used them in every house when I only had the base game! Now that I have a new graphics card and can push all the settings up to high, I realize that the last color of this beautiful counter is not just a strange pinky color, but is actually a burlwood texture, but with a sort of haze over it. Also, the original black stone counter top has a similar hazy look. I was building a modern kitchen and realized that I needed a very dark wood set, but not black, as most of my dark cc kitchens include as a dark version. So, I decided to repair what looks like a mistake in this last texture.

When I finished adjusting the saturation for the first recolor, I decided to add some additional granite tops and colorful cabinets.

Then, finally I decided that because none of the Maxis wood finish fridges matched these counters, I better make a few of those, also.

All nine recolors include both a clean and dirty state. For the dirty state, I chopped up DremeMynd's CounterCulture dirt template (available here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=35675) and stuck it back together Frankenstein style for my own counters. Thank you, DremeMynd!
