A cozy Craftsman style studio starter home on a 20x20 lot with double bed and one bathroom. Great for sims who love the outdoors, it features a stocked pond for fishing! It also has a writing desk, bookcase, and dressing room. Plenty of room for expansion or gardening. Decorated in natural, earthy, colors and fabrics.


20x20 lot. Furnished §15,113; unfurnished §11,609. No Store items or CC used.

I have all expansion packs through Pets but tried to build this with base game only items. Game patched to Sims 3 version 1.29.55.014001 / Pets 10.0.96.013001.

The Craftsman style home was a revolution in American architectural design, and they were built all over the nation between 1905 and 1930. Like many design elements of the Arts and Crafts period, the Craftsman home is a work of art as well as a functioning dwelling. A Craftsman home is characterized by having low, gentle sloping roofs and being one story tall. The house usually has wide eaves above a deep porch which has distinctive square pillars. Most Craftsman houses have open floor plans inside. Craftsman houses also incorporate Arts and Crafts style light fixtures and stained glass windows.
