I promised this career to someone a very long time ago - I don't know if they're still waiting but considering I had some spare time on my hands...

The Psychology career can be found at the hospital and centers around the logic, writing (for writing reports) and painting (if only there was still a creativity skill) skills. Your sim will be expected to spend a lot of time on these skills and build them high, as psychology is a tough career path in real life!
The career has all the usual tones plus two custom ones which allow you to skill up at work, called Study Textbook and Write Reports.
The career also has a set of 8 Custom Opportunities which I won't describe but will name so you can guess if you want to: The Ice Cream Theory, An Apple A Day, Inceptioned, Keeping Tabs, Kiss Ass, Psychotic Psychologists, Round Up Patients and the creatively named, Deliver Documents.
Here are the levels:
Joining Text
Do you ever find yourself wondering what others are thinking? Well, we don't claim to teach you how to read minds but a job in the Psychology field will certainly give you a deeper understanding of the Sim's mind.
Guidance Counsellor - Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $20/hour, 9am-3pm
Coupled with a fascination of the mind, your desire to help other Sims makes a career in psychology ideal for you. At this level you’re only going to be directing sims to classes or listening to people moan about their jobs, but displaying your understanding and empathy will get you noticed by your higher ups. Dreary hours await you. Remember this though; service with a smile will help your patients feel better, and just might put you on the fast track to med-school!
Psychology Student – Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri , $24/hour, 9am-3pm
Helping Sims with their basic day-to-day problems was a highly useful step of your training. You now understand why people feel things, but how can they? As a psychology student you’ll learn all about how the brain works, diseases of the mind and medications to counter them. Long hours of studying will be essential seeing as the brain is a highly complex organ that will take a lot of logic to get your head around..
Psychology Intern – Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $27/hour, 8am-6pm
With a diploma in your hand and good will in your heart you can finally set off into the working world of Psychology – or so you think! Now that you’re on a hospital ward you’ll finally get some hands on knowledge of Psychological diseases and their role in everyday life. Helping your superior diagnose and care for their patients is something you’ve been dreaming of, but in reality you’re more likely to be typing up reports for the boss. Let’s face it, what else are Interns for?
Health Psychologist – Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $40/hour, 9am-5pm
Congrats! Your boss obviously thinks you’re ready to begin your rotations. Or maybe he just got sick of you following him around… Either way, your step into Health Psychology means you’re beginning to be trusted. Left to your own devices you’ll have to interview patients and assess their behaviour before reporting back to your superiors. Your reports will be essential as a basis to a recovery plan for your patients, so raising your writing skill is recommended.
Developmental Psychologist – Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $72/hour, 9am-4pm
In your previous jobs, you’ll undoubtedly have wondered what makes us who we are? Assessing children in the Child Psychology unit will give you a deeper understanding of how our childhood affects the adult we grow in to. On the other hand, some of the illnesses you witness on this rotation may shock you. But helping people is what this is all about. Raising your Painting Skill will help you to think of creative ways to help your young patients with as much light-heartedness and patience as possible.
Social Psychologist – Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $100/hour, 9:30am-4pm
After the horrors of the Psych ward you’ll surely be glad to take your turn in the research facility. Remember this is a key part of your career. The research that you conduct at this stage will give you a better understanding of what makes us tick, so remember to tick all of your bosses boxes; Observation, creativity and (you guessed it) writing up your results will help you progress in your new research environment.
Forensic Psychologist – Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri, $185/hour, 9am-5pm
When they were young, most Sims dreamed of becoming James Bond but you pretty much gave up that dream when you entered Medical School. Yet here you are – trying to get inside a criminal's mind! Of course, you’ll spend more time trying to help the criminals than capture them. You should be sure of your judgements when writing reports to the court, and maybe one day you’ll help a recovering shoplifter instead of imprisoning them.
Clinical Psychologist – Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $210/hour, 10am-4pm
Sociopaths? Hypochondriacs? Isn’t that what you’ve been dreaming of? The emotionally disturbed is your speciality! As a Clinical Psychologist it’s pretty much diagnosis all day long but now you’re into the big stuff. With years of assessing your patients under your belt this shouldn’t be too much of an issue, but remembering all of those fancy terms might be less of a doddle…
Experimental Psychologist – Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri, $230/hour, 10am-2:30pm
Sometimes the only way to understand something is to open it up and take a look. Of course, with the mind this is easier said than done. Your work in the hospital has allowed you to understand what makes us tick, but from your new position in the labs you can devise your own experiments. Do monkeys smoke because it’s sociable? Do sheep remember the image of their own face? Who knows?
Professor of Psychology – Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri, $302/hour, 10am-2pm
You’ve seen and done it all now and the hospital directors have obviously noticed – they’ve picked you to try and whip those new Interns into shape. Imparting your wisdom on those who are following in your footsteps should be no trouble with all that experience under your belt. Let’s just hope they’re as enthusiastic as you were!

As I am not fluent in any language other than English all games, no matter of region will display English text. I will upload the strings in the comments section and if you wish to translate all you have to do is download the string file, open it in notepad and translate the following:

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
Guys, seriously -
Despite the fact I love creating careers for sims 3 and the fact it's really rewarding I can't spend my whole life editing XML. What I'm trying to tell you is that if you request or suggest a career it is highly unlikely I will succeed in making it. Most of the time I start and never finish, but I did pass all my GCSEs :)
If a career is not working:
1) Download the Base-Mod of the NRaas Careers Mods found here: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Careers
2) Refresh you Caches
3) Contact me
