Good old rural communities never thought of enviromental friendliness - simply because life is ecological by nature.
But modern cities are different and our city Sims are nowadays quite concerned about balance and sustainability. Some have focused on alternatives for their daily lives - wearing natural fibres, recycling, and of course eating organic food.
So why not go a bit further and plant their own veggies?
City life. Apartments.
And private urban gardens in each of those apartments. Get the juicer ready for the tastiest fruit ever!
The building
As you may see this is a very modern looking apartment building which was created having one idea in mind: light.
Plenty of windows (and not a single curtain!) to let all the positive energy in. And of course to help your veggies grow healthy.
Each apartment has an interior vegetable garden.
But the exterior landscaping was kept extremely simple as it's meant to fit in an urban hood (which may have been built over concrete) so the only flowers and bushes you'll see are the ones the landlord located in very specific places.
(Note that the sand is not painted on the lot so you may fit this building on any type of terrain and it'll blend in.)
On top of the building you'll find a public recreative area where you may enjoy a drink or a hamburger, sun tan, splash in the hot tube... or stargaze. Hence the silly name of these apartments.
Beware of aliens though! :D
There are 2 apartments in each floor.
Both of them are decorated following a similar pattern which changes completely from one floor to another one. In higher floors apartments are smaller and are decorated in a simplier and cheaper way so they are much more affordable than the ones below.
Even those in the same floor are arranged in different ways (different number of bedrooms for example) so you may fit a variety of households here.
1st floor | Modern Garden
Elegantly decorated mainly in black, white and gray - with some touches of red or blue - these two apartments are the largest and most expensive ones. Each has two 4x4 vegetable patches.
The one in the left is the most luxurious one. It has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and another one with twin beds), spacious kitchenette, 1.5 bathrooms, a very large sitting room and hall.
The one in the right optimizes the avaliable room and features 3 bedrooms (a double one and two single ones) plus a nursery so it's perfect for large or growing families. And two bathrooms because so many people will need them.
2nd floor | Alien Nature
Modern looking and using flashy bright colors in the bedrooms, as its name suggests they were decorated having in mind visitors from another world. Each apartment has one 4x4 vegetable patch and a large private balcony.
The one in the left has 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and another one with twin beds), spacious kitchenette, large bathroom and a sitting room right in the entrance.
The one in the right has 3 bedrooms (one double, one single and another single with nursery), bathroom, and kitchenette joined to the sitting room.
3rd floor | Green Pastures
Rather minimalistic but a bit more country-looking, this floor is mostly decorated in green and white. Each apartment has one 4x4 vegetable patch and a small private balcony.
The one in the left has one bedroom (equipped with nursery items in case the tenants are starting a family soon) and one bathroom.
The one in the right has two single rooms instead, so it's perfect for friends sharing the rent or for a single looking forward finding a roommate.
4th floor | Chicken Cheap
Intentionally cheap-looking (and cheap-priced), these yellowish apartments are not the most beautiful ones but they are certainly affordable considering the commodities this building offers. Each one has one 2x4 vegetable patch.
The one in the left has one double bedroom and the one in the right has two single bedrooms.
Known issues
While testing this lot I noticed that all the veggies planted on the 2nd floor and above look wrong. Sims actions and animations are right but the plants appear as floating in the air.
Everything seems to work alright but it's a visual annoyance. It may be fixed replacing default garden plots with mike_1102's Garden Plot Vertical Position Fix.
Lot Size: 3x3 Lot Price (furnished): §1,735 - §4,282

Install Instructions
Basic Download and Install Instructions:
1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
I am a humble TS2 creator who believes that playability is the uppermost important and who likes to share no-CC lots... so I guess my work is quite plain in some senses. But I'm very glad some of you like it, download it and even favourite it!
