When you think of a building for fit Sims the first thing that comes to your mind is a gym. So obvious! Oh, well, in fact maybe too obvious...
I tried to work out something a little different and I figured out I could build an evolving gym!

What do I mean by evolving gym?
Simple. There are 4 different versions of the same building, each larger and filled with better quality items as well as nicer decoration. They go from a very simple gym with only the basic features to a luxury one which would provide more than one source of entertaiment to the inhabitants of your neighbourhood.
If you want to have a gym in your hood you may start with the budget one and upgrade to the next stage by removing it and using the next version instead, giving the sensation that it grows as the population and riches grow.

Spagat 3 { Full Gym }

The gym is finaly growing.
Which means it needs more space - time to build a second floor! And more and better items as well as cooler decoration.
And of course that means more expensive: almost double the price compared with the previous stage. But it's worth it!

Everything is more spacious.
Starting with the hall - where now your Sims may buy a coffee if they get too tired - and the changing rooms (aka bathrooms), which now use all the space in the lower floor.
The gym was moved to the second floor and has been improved with better machines as well as a hot tube to relax after so much exercise.
But, hey, if visitors think that socializing is sexy they may also go to the photo booth below for a public whoohoo >:>

Run as a business?

Of course your Sims may want to buy this lot and run it as a business. In that case a Electrono-Ticket Machine is in order - and pretty much everything they will need.
  • Sims firmly believe that expensive machines are better than cheap ones.
    You may want to upgrade them all to the most expensive ones even if the gym looks a bit less realistic.
  • Sims actually exercising tire out very soon. And will leave soon.
    You may assume this as normal behaviour (most real life people won't stay in the gym for 6 hours in a row anyway) or engage them in less stressing activities such as playing Marco Polo in the swimming pool or enjoying a bath in the hot tube.
  • The pay-for-coffee machine is not an option for most of them. Replacing it with free complimentary coffe from a normal coffee maker may tempt them to stay longer.
